Jeff Brazier 's estranged wife has seemingly revealed exactly how long it's been since the former couple lived together.
The TV star, 43, broke the news he and Kate Dwyer, 32, had called time on their nine-year romance at the end of last year and admitted he felt lonely as he struggled to come to terms with the change.
Kate reportedly told friends she didn't 'want to be a stay at home wife' was the reason behind the split, as speculation swirled about why the former couple had parted ways.
But the PR executive has now strongly implied she and Jeff split long before the dad-of-two's announcement in December - hinting she has been living life as a single woman for an entire year now.
Taking to her Instagram Stories recently, Kate shared a snap of herself posing next to a pal as she celebrated the friend's birthday.
"Happy Birthday to my most frequently contact on WhatsApp," Kate gushed to her friend as she celebrated her special day.
"Getting paid to sit next to you and annoy you on the daily is an honour. Thanks for letting me live in your front room for the last year."
Jeff, who raised sons Bobby, 19, and Freddie, 18, following ex Jade Goody's death in in 2009, last shared a picture of Kate to his main Instagram page back in July. The PR executive has not featured in any of his grid posts since.
Captioning a picture of him and Kate for her birthday almost seven months ago, Jeff wrote: "Happy Birthday to my wonderful wife @katebrazierpr I look forward to making it a special day for you."
Kate's last social media post involving Jeff came last year, as she shared a family snap on Christmas Day.
Jeff announced the end of his marriage in December with a lengthy statement about 'a challenging year' on Instagram, which reads: "A moment to practice what I preach and start the new week with honesty.
"One for the smilers and eternally positive individuals who don’t often afford themselves the right to share their own vulnerabilities," he wrote.
"I have so much to be grateful for and I appreciate facing the lessons I need to grow but this year has been challenging to say the least."
He continued to reveal: "My 9 year relationship ended earlier in the year and I’ve been working through that on top of supporting someone close to me who is going through something difficult.
"The boys and I have recently moved home to a new area & I spend most of the time alone as the boys obviously have their own things going on.
"It’s been constant change this year and I’m good with adapting but the combination of things have left me low at times and I’ve honestly never felt loneliness like it. Can we put Christmas back a few months?!
"I have lots of great friends and I know they’re a phone call away but sometimes I find it hard to admit I’m struggling with all of the change preferring just to keep working through it myself. I’m a bit too good at that."
Jeff concluded the candid post saying: "There was always going to come a day when the boys didn’t want or need me so much and I thought I’d be more than ok with having all this time on my hands!"
