Jeff Brazier’s estranged wife Kate Dwyer has unfollowed him on social media after their split.
TV personality Brazier, 43, announced on Monday that he had split from the PR director, 32, after nine years together.
Just two days later, he is no longer showing up on the list of accounts Dwyer is following.
Brazier, who took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday to reveal he had jetted off on a mystery trip, is still following Dwyer.
Shortly after Brazier confirmed the split, Dwyer broke her silence.
She re-shared an emotional post about “first Christmas without husband” on her Instagram Stories.
It read: “Someone you know is preparing for their first Christmas without their husband, wife, mother, father, brother, sister, daughter or son.”
It concluded: “Be kind, be generous, give love, give help; if nothing else. Just don’t give people a hard time.”
She also posted a black-and-white picture of her relaxing on a sofa with her dog, which she captioned: “We are going to bed at 8.30 – as far as we are concerned, this day is done,” followed by a waving hand emoji.
Alongside a picture of him smiling, he wrote: “A moment to practice what I preach and start the new week with honesty. One for the smilers and eternally positive individuals who don’t often afford themselves the right to share their own vulnerabilities.
“I have so much to be grateful for and I appreciate facing the lessons I need to grow but this year has been challenging to say the least.
“My 9-year relationship ended earlier in the year and I’ve been working through that on top of supporting someone close to me who is going through something difficult.”
He went on to admit that he was feeling lonely as in addition to his relationship status change, he and his sons Bobby, 19, and Freddie, 18, have recently moved house to a new area.
The boys are from his previous relationship with Big Brother’s Jade Goody and he has raised them ever since she died from cervical cancer 13 years ago.
Brazier concluded the candid post with: “There was always going to come a day when the boys didn’t want or need me so much and I thought I’d be more than OK with having all this time on my hands!”
