Jeff Brazier has put his sprawling £1.2million Essex mansion up for sale after splitting from his wife Kate O'Dwyer.
The couple took to social media earlier this week to confirm the sad news of their split following nine years together. Jeff, 43, has put the home they previously shared up for sale following reports that the PR guru 'snubbed' him on social media.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Kate, 32, unfollowed the father-of-two on Instagram after the news of their split emerged. Jeff still follows Kate on social media, and she hasn't cleared her timeline of all traces of him as she still follows his cooking account, but that hasn't been active since October 2020.
Announcing the news to his fans on Monday, Jeff called quits on his nine-year relationship as he opened up about the loneliness he's faced. He told followers his "relationship ended earlier in the year" as reports surfaced Kate left their family home due to "not wanting to be a stay at home wife".
"The boys and I have recently moved home to a new area & I spend most of the time alone as the boys obviously have their own things going on," Jeff wrote within his moving update to his fans online.
He continued: "It’s been constant change this year and I’m good with adapting but the combination of things have left me low at times and I’ve honestly never felt loneliness like it. Can we put Christmas back a few months?!
"I have lots of great friends and I know they’re a phone call away but sometimes I find it hard to admit I’m struggling with all of the change preferring just to keep working through it myself. I’m a bit too good at that.
"There was always going to come a day when the boys didn’t want or need me so much and I thought I’d be more than ok with having all this time on my hands! I know the time is a gift and I have to plug myself back in to the friendships that have supported me, surviving 14 years of my focus understandably laying elsewhere."
The former Shipwrecked star shares his two sons, Bobby, 19, and Freddie, 18, with the late Jade Goody, and raised the boys following her death in 2009.
The stunning home features an impressive outdoor gym, alongside a huge garden perfect for outdoor activities as well as a vegetable patch Jeff tended too. The online coach frequently shared photos and videos of himself making use of the outdoor gym, as the facility was the envy of his followers.
In 2021 when Jeff was working with home and garden site, Home Essentials, he posted a video of the then-couple’s bedroom, which featured a vintage floral wallpaper, a large bed complete with grey and navy accessories, and a velvet grey ottoman at the end of the bed.
There’s also been videos on Instagram of the family’s massive kitchen, too, which featured a monochrome colour scheme and modern furniture.
Jeff concluded his end-of-an-era post with a message to his followers about going forward into the new year. “I know there are many of us out there that find it easier to support than be supported but here’s to a better balance of the two in 2023, we need it and deserve it,” he said.
“Well that wasn’t so hard after all. I hope if you need to level with a few people about how things are for you, it encourages you to do the same.”
