Jeff Brazier 'in legal battle to stop son Freddy, 20, from seeing his grandmother'

The father of the late Jade Goody’s children is reportedly taking legal action to prevent his son Freddie from seeing his maternal grandmother.

TV presenter Jeff Brazier is said to be seeking to block contact between model Freddie, 20, and his grandmother Jackiey, 68 — the mother of the late Big Brother star.

The reported legal move comes 16 years after Jade Goody died from cervical cancer at the age of 27, when Freddie was four and his brother, EastEnders actor Bobby, was five.

A source close to the family told The Sun: “This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep Freddy safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his wellbeing for a long time now.

“The fact that he is going down this route shows how concerned we all are and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people.’’

Jade shot to fame as one of the UK’s biggest reality TV stars on Big Brother in 2004.

Last year, during BBC show Celebrity Race Across The World, Freddy spoke openly about how he struggled with mental health issues, and his relationship with his father who raised him by himself since losing his mum in 2009.

He said: “At times where I’ve pushed him away, he has pulled even harder to pull me back in. I don’t think I praise my dad enough for everything he has done for me but he knows the love.”

Freddy sees his grandmother Jackiey regularly and posted a TikTok video of himself taking drugs at her flat in Bermondsey.

In a recent video, Jackiey can be seen in the middle of a foul-mouthed rant, saying; ‘’Do you hear me? Don’t f***ing do it no more, don’t Fred, Please don’t. Don’t f***ing talk to me like you talk outside, if that’s the case f*** off. Yeah f*** off.’’

Last week, Jeff posted photos with Freddy at a meditation retreat in Essex, as well as photos of them running together, captioned: “So grateful to Fred.

“He's cycled alongside me every night this week and supported me since I decided I wanted to run an ultra marathon this year.

“He's always the best company."
