Jeff Baena's Career
The artist was born and raised in Miami and showed an early passion for filmmaking. He attended New York University's film school and, after graduating, moved to Los Angeles to begin his career.
Among his most notable works is the 2004 indie black comedy 'I Heart Huckabees,' starring Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, and Naomi Watts.

Personal Life
Baena shared more than 12 years of his life with Plaza in a strong relationship.
The world found out about their marriage in May 2021 when the actress referred to him as her "dear husband" in an Instagram post. It was later revealed that they married in a "quick ceremony" in 2020.
"I'm so proud of my dear husband Jeff Baena for creating another movie that takes us to Italy to cause more trouble," part of the caption read.
The couple was notably private about their romance, rarely discussing their relationship. Even their wedding came as a surprise to close friends, who expressed their shock at the announcement.
