Jean-Philippe Mateta is keen to leave Crystal Palace this summer amid speculation linking him with a move to Everton.
The ECHO understands the forward has grown frustrated with his lack of game time at Selhurst Park and is keen to depart either on loan or permanently. The 25-year-old started just six games in the Premier League this season.
Reports from Europe have linked Everton with a move for the forward in recent days, and the ECHO understands that a fee of around £10m would be required to secure the services of Mateta on a permanent basis. The Frenchman has already had offers from clubs in Europe but is keen to remain in the Premier League.

Sean Dyche called for major changes at Everton after their latest dramatic escape from relegation against Bournemouth. The Blues have already decided against triggering a £4.5 million option to sign Conor Coady from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Yerry Mina and Asmir Begovic have also confirmed they will be leaving the club once their contracts expire this summer. Dyche and Director of Football Kevin Thelwell face another crucial summer in the transfer market as they attempt to trim a bloated squad and bring together a group that will be fit for purpose.
Despite the millions spent under the stewardship of Farhad Moshiri, Everton started the recent 1-0 win over Gary O'Neil's side without a striker or any full-backs and only had six outfield substitutes on the bench, including youngster Sean McAllister. Failure across two transfer windows to strengthen up top almost came back to haunt the club.
Speaking about transfers after the win over Bournemouth, Dyche said: "Fans want development, but really they want first-team footballers who can play and win, and that usually implies money.
"But we know about the financial stuff; that has to be realigned, so not yet; I don’t know, but I will know at some point.
"Evertonians remember when they had an ‘earthy’ team, a team that gave everything; they are good things even in modern times. Let’s applaud it. And of course we want to play good, attacking, pleasing football that can win games. Not easy."
