JD Wetherspoon customers could be in for a jackpot prize this summer if they spot one item served with their drink.
Fans of the major UK pub chain should look out for a golden straw in their glass for a chance to win £5,000.
It comes as Au Vodka, who makes premium spirits, has teamed up with the British pub chain to give three lucky winners a huge cash prize.
Charlie Morgan, one of the founders of the drinks, shared on Instagram to tell fans what they need to look out for.
He said: "For your chance to win £5,000 this summer, just go to Wetherspoons and buy a Au Vodka Candy Rosá and if you find the golden straw, you win £5,000 and me, personally deliver it to you.
"How about that? Now check out that cash!"
All you need, as he mentioned, is to buy the Au Vodka Candy Rosá pitcher in a Wetherspoon pub, writes the Daily Star.
The post added: "Three purchase dates/times/pubs will be selected randomly.
"The lucky winners buying the Au Vodka Candy Rosá pitcher who are served with the unique Au Vodka golden-coloured straw at the winning time and location will win a £5,000 prize - Good Luck!"
But some fans were not sure if the pub staff would play the game fairly.
One said: "They are putting a lot of trust in the Spoons workers."
"Bartenders could just put the straw in their friend's drink," a second wrote.
But some said the competition gave them an excuse to visit a pub, with one tagging his friends, saying: "Let's go drinking!"
"I live by about seven Wetherspoons, we need some clues," one commented.
The giveway is on until September 30, 2023.
One thing to note is the promotion excludes pubs in airports, Beaconsfield, Leceister Square in London, Windsor and the Republic of Ireland.
