JD Vance Suggests Invoking 25Th Amendment To Remove Biden

Joe Biden looks focused.

Vice presidential hopeful JD Vance recently suggested that Democrats should consider invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Biden from office. In an exclusive interview alongside former President Trump, Vance expressed his belief that efforts to push Biden to step down could be seen as a 'coup attempt.'

Vance emphasized the importance of following the constitutional process, stating that if Biden is unable to serve as president, the 25th Amendment should be utilized. He urged Democrats to address any concerns about Biden's ability to lead in a proper and transparent manner.

Former President Trump also weighed in on the situation, indicating that he sees the potential move to unseat Biden as a 'sort of' coup attempt. The speculation surrounding Biden's re-election campaign came to an end when he announced his decision to drop out of the 2024 race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor.

Prior to Biden's announcement, there were calls from within the Democratic party for him to step aside and make way for new leadership to take on Trump in the upcoming election. Reports suggested that prominent Democrats, including Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer, were among those who wanted Biden to exit the race.

While the Democratic nominee for the 2024 election remains uncertain, potential candidates such as Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Michelle Obama, Gretchen Whitmer, and JB Pritzker have been mentioned as possible contenders. The choice of Harris' vice presidential running mate, should she secure the nomination, is also yet to be determined.
