Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance recently expressed his confidence in his upcoming debate with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, stating that he doesn't feel the need to extensively prepare due to his pride in former president Donald Trump's record.
Vance emphasized that their campaign has well-developed views on public policy, which he believes eliminates the need for extensive preparation. He highlighted their focus on delivering a concise and direct appeal to the American people regarding Trump's successful policies and what he perceives as Kamala Harris's failed policies.
According to Vance, the campaign's lack of preparation stems from their transparency and lack of intention to conceal their record from the public. He expressed pride in Trump's accomplishments and stated that they are eager to openly discuss and promote his record without reservation.
Despite Vance's assertion that minimal preparation is required, reports indicate that he has engaged in rigorous preparation sessions over the past month. It is also noted that Vance is set to participate in a mock debate, with House Majority Whip Tom Emmer assuming the role of Walz to simulate the debate environment.
