By now, pretty much all fans of the Boston Celtics have seen the videos of All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum and Hall of Fame Celtics alum Paul Pierce working out together during the 2023 NBA offseason, and most have heard the reasoning behind the workouts from both sides of the equation.
But Pierce has stuck with his former ball club, imparting his wisdom to this generation of Boston greats. Tatum’s appreciation for having veterans like Pierce around, their valuable stories and experiences, and the overall positive vibes surrounding the Celtics this season are the motive behind keeping The Truth with Boston for their training camp, especially after head coach Joe Mazzulla went out of his way to get the team and former Celtics greats together more often.
