In such a circumstance against the Detroit Pistons with a total of five players out of the rotation for Boston on Saturday night, star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum did precisely that.
The St. Louis native put up 43 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and as many blocks in 41 minutes of floor time, shooting a sizzling 14-of-28 from the floor, 7-of-14 from beyond the arc and 8-of-10 from the charity stripe.
