Jayson Tatum goes off in Boston Celtics’ 114-98 win vs. New York Knicks

In a 114-98 win against the New York Knicks at TD Garden on Monday night, the Boston Celtics emerged victorious after a tough start against a determined New York squad trying to avenge their season-opening loss.

This win was particularly impressive due to the Celtics’ strong defense in the second half and efficient offense overall. Both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown had strong performances, with Tatum in particular hitting 5-of-12 from 3-point range and showing off his improved passing with 7 assists. Tatum’s ability to close out the game was crucial in securing the win for the Celtics. The Knicks put up a good fight but were unable to overcome Tatum’s dominant performance in the fourth quarter.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast weighed in on Jayson Tatum’s monster game vs. New York on a recent episode.
