The Boston Celtics by several accounts have one of or even the easiest schedules left in the NBA this season, but don’t try to convince star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum of that. Fresh off beating the Western Conference’s top team in a 127-120 overtime win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston will face the East’s No. 2 team behind the Celtics, the Milwaukee Bucks.
“Tomorrow’s going to be another big game, another fun one,” said Tatum after the T-Wolves win. “I read somewhere that they said we got the easiest schedule remaining — I don’t know when that (expletive) is going to start,” the St. Louis native deadpanned. “But it’s not right now, so we’ve got another tough game tomorrow that’s going to be fun; I’m looking forward to it.”
While Boston’s schedule after the tilt with the Bucks does indeed get easier than the murderer’s row of opponents the Celtics have faced lately, it truly becomes a lighter load in the month of March.

Then, Boston plays just four ball clubs with records good enough to escape the play-in tournament if the season ended today.
