Dancing on Ice judge Jayne Torvill was left in tears on Sunday's show over Regan Gascoigne's performance, as she and other judges declared the bookies favourite had 'a breakthrough moment.'
While he has been bookies' favourite to win from day one, Regan has admitted to being frustrated in recent weeks, after failing to match the high scores racked up by rivals Brendan Cole and Kimberley Wyatt.
Gazza's son has also suffered a few stumbles during routines, but on Sunday night, as the contestants were tasked with replicating routines done by judges and skating icons Torvill and Dean, Regan reached a series high of a perfect 40 out of 40.

Trained dancer and pro partner Karina Manta performed a Barnam inspired number and, as she gave her critique, Jayne was moved to tears.
She told the 26-year-old: "We know that, technically, your skating has always been good, but tonight everything came together."
She added: "I'm getting emotional," as she started crying as colleague Oti Mabuse interrupted: "I love to see that!"
Regan himself ended up fighting back tears as he said it meant a lot to be able to do a routine like that.
Regan was once again supported in the crowd by older sister Bianca Gascoigne, who has been in the studio every week to cheer him on.
The audience once again came under fire from some viewers at home for drowning on the contestants with their 'loud screaming.'
After earning her highest score of the series so far, Paralympian Stef Reid found herself in the bottom two and was voted out, after losing the Skate Off to Kye Whyte.
