Jayne Torvill gave a health update on Dancing on Ice this evening.
Appearing on the ITV show in a sparkly sling, designed to match her one-shouldered, dark-green, glitzy dress, Jayne explained what had been happening health wise. She stood next to her skating partner, Christopher Dean as they chatted about what was to come in prop week.
They explained that anything can happen when using a prop on the ice before host Phillip Schofield asked what had happened as he pointed to her injured arm. She said: "Speaking of things going wrong on the ice, I ruptured my bicep tendon so I need to get some surgery."

Shocked, Phil said: "You have to have surgery?" The ice skating legend confirmed it once more as she said: "Yes, I'm going to have to have surgery."
Phil asked: "But you'll be ok?" She replied: "Yes, I will be fine and will be back on the ice soon."
Fans on Twitter shared their support for the 65-year-old judge. One user shared a picture of a cat as they added: "Puss puss is sad to hear that Jayne Torvill on #dancingonice has hurt her arm. He thinks she is very brave to be on the show tonight."
