New Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has had some important guests in the first few episodes of his podcast, “It Needed to be Said.”
Hill and co-host Julius Collins spoke to NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus, rapper/Miami native Rick Ross and Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa before having wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on for the fifth episode.
Everyone knew exactly where this conversation was going to go, and it didn’t take long, as Hill asked Waddle in the first few minutes of the show whether or not he truly believed he was the faster of the two. Waddle responded with confidence.
“It’s not just you,” Waddle said. “It’s Raheem [Mostert]. I mean, I’m the fastest on the team, so it’s like, whoever on the team, this is how it is.”
Hill tried to mess with Waddle saying that he’s “not on the team yet” because he hasn’t played a game for the Dolphins, but Waddle shut him down. Collins also brought up that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman, who also wears No. 17, said he was faster than Hill at one point, and Waddle said he’s faster than Hardman too.
We’ve been waiting all offseason for this race between Waddle and Hill, and, at this point, the anticipation is a killer.
