Winning a title in the NBA requires more than raw talent. Champions must learn to love and trust their teammates, and locker room chemistry is often a secret sauce for clubs that go the distance. So far for the 2023-24 Boston Celtics, the returns are have been good, with happy vibes helping power the team to success.
Team chemistry can be hard to define or identify, but you sort of know it when you see it. That’s certainly the case with Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis. Since joining the team this summer, Porzingis has grown closer to his new teammate, and they have both talked about how their shared mojo is important to Boston’s success.
Now thanks to a single tweet, this duo may have a new nickname.

Whether or not “Cookies and Cream” will stick remains to be scene. After all, there are plenty of other nicknames for Celtics fans to choose from. And the synergy between the two former All-Stars is more important than any monicker.
