The Green Bay Packers took a first-quarter lead for the third consecutive game when rookie receiver Jayden Reed high-stepped into the end zone from 16 yards out to give Green Bay a 7-0 lead over the New York Giants on Monday night.
Reed took a jet sweep moving from his left to right, got the edge and went untouched for the game’s first score.
The touchdown was Reed’s seventh of the season and his second rushing touchdown. The second-round pick has touchdown in four of the last five games.

The scoring drive was extended on a fourth-down conversion by rookie Dontayvion Wicks. He was initially ruled short of the first down but a review gave him the necessary yardage to move the sticks.
A.J. Dillon’s 35-yard catch following the conversion got the Packers going.
Reed’s first three touches of the night have gained 25 yards.
