There are major changes ongoing in Washington, D.C. They have nothing to do with a Donald, but rather a Dan (Quinn) and Daniels (Jayden).
The Washington Commanders are going to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since Jan. 12, 1992. They stunned the No.1 seed Detroit Lions, 45-31, at Ford Field on Saturday.
The last time Washington was in the NFC Championship Game it defeated the Lions, 41-10, before winning the Super Bowl.\
These Commanders came in as the sixth seed in the NFC. They advanced to the game against the Lions with a field goal that doinked off an upright against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round.

In the divisional round, the Commanders scored 28 points in the second quarter to take a lead they never relinquished.
The Lions, who won 15 games in the regular season, had no answers for the brilliant rookie Heisman winner from LSU.
There was no need for the Cardiac Commanders against the Lions. They led by the 10 at the half, and saw the Lions close to within 31-28 before scoring two fourth-quarter touchdowns.
Daaiels threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns in a maestro-like performance. He also ran for 52 yards.
Jared Goff lost a fumble and threw three picks for Detroit. Jameson Williams threw an interception on a trick play. The five turnovers were doomsayers against a Commanders team that committed no turnovers and only four penalties.
One of the flags was on a grabbing the facemask penalty on Donte Fowler Jr. when the Commanders lineman never touched the facemask of the Lions player.
Quinn left his job as defensive coordinator in Dallas and took over as head coach. In his first season, he turned around a team that won four games into one that is playingf or a shot to go to the Super Bowl at either the Eagles or Rams.
