Jay-Z and DJ Khaled will reportedly perform “God Did” at Sunday’s Grammy Award presentation in Los Angeles.
The tune, which also features John Legend and Rick Ross, is nominated as the top song of 2022. Variety reports viewers will see “an all star performance” of the title track from DJ Khaled’s album, which is up for five awards.
Sunday night will be a family affair for Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé, who’ve are nominated for five and nine awards, respectively. They’ve each been nominated 88 times throughout their impressive careers. Both performers have won 28 times. They are second all-time to composer Georg Solti, who collected 31 trophies before his 1997 death.
Time-tested hip-hop stars are on full display Sunday, thanks to a tribute curated by The Roots drummer Questlove and performances from Busta Rhymes, De La Soul and Ice-T.
Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Lizzo and Mary J. Blige are also slated to sing.
Fans wanting to see Beyoncé onstage got good news Wednesday when the “Alien Superstar” singer announced her first solo world tour since 2016. The 43-show outing, called the “Renaissance World Tour,” kicks off May 10 in Sweden.
