Both Celtic and Rangers advanced beyond the group stage in the Champions League and Europa League respectively.
Celtic made it into the knockout play-off round of the Champions League after finishing 21st in the league phase of the competition. They face Bayern Munich in the play-off.
Rangers, meanwhile, advanced straight into the last 16 of the Europa League with an eighth-place finish in the revamped league phase format. Rangers await one of FC Twente, Bodo/Glimt, Anderlecht and Fenerbahce in the round of 16.
Both Glasgow clubs earned significant bonuses for their performances with UEFA offering bounties for wins and draws in European competition.
However, Celtic earned almost three times as much as Rangers due to competing in the Champions League rather than the Europa League.
In fact, Celtic earned €18.62m simply for participating in the league phase of the Champions League - a figure higher than Rangers have earned in their Europa League in total so far.
The Ibrox club banked €4.31m for competing in the league phase of the Europa League.
Wins in the Champions League come with a tidy €2.1m UEFA bonus - a victory in the Europa League sees clubs awarded €450k.
Similarly, draws in the Champions League come with a €700k payment compared to the €150k for draws in the Europa League.
When all participation, performance and qualification payments are totalled - this does not include ticket sales or legacy UEFA payments - Celtic have so far earned €32.42m (£27.14m).
The same calculation for Rangers comes to €10.935m (£9.15m)
