The Chicago Bulls will be without their spark plug off the bench for a little while longer.
Following DeMar DeRozan leaving Monday’s game against the Celtics with a right quadriceps strain, the Bulls announced on Tuesday that Javonte Green will undergo an arthroscopic debridement on his right knee on Wednesday.

Green has missed the last five games, and 13 games total this season, dealing with soreness in his knee, which will be re-evaluated after two weeks following the surgery.
Reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, there’s hope that Green ‘can return to the lineup in approximately a month’ following the procedure.
In 28 games this season, Green is averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game on 38.2 percent from downtown.
