Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says Leeds United sacking Javi Gracia would not be impossible, but admits going after another manager at this stage of the season would be really tough. The Whites have conceded 11 goals in just two games having capitulated in the second-half against Crystal Palace and switching off against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.
The Spaniard's Leeds side have been built on sturdiness at the back, but have only kept one clean sheet during his tenure - a problem that has plagued the Whites all season. A draw with Brighton, followed by wins over Wolves and Nottingham Forest gave Leeds fans hope.
But question marks are beginning to resurface following a poor run and a difficult run of fixtures on the horizon. The Whites still have to play European hopefuls Fulham, Tottenham and Newcastle United, while also facing a trip to the Etihad to take on title chasing Manchester City.

Carragher told Sky Sports: "It’s not [impossible]. They got rid of a God-like figure in Bielsa when they thought they were going to go down, and I think it took them so long to get this guy in and they tried a few different options, I think it would be really tough at this stage of the season to go for another manager.
"So, I think he’ll be there between now and the end of the season. But, if you’re talking about the next two or three games going really badly and they lose badly, they might think why not do something?
"That’s what every other club is doing down there - the other clubs down there - you might be thinking that manager might go in not so long, because the stakes are so high financially."
Meanwhile, Brentford defender Ben Mee - who joined Carragher in the Sky Sports studio - has compared the situation to sacking Sean Dyche at Burnley and said: "It didn’t work, no. Doesn’t always work, I guess, but that’s the chances that these owners take and the clubs take.
"There’s been a few changes of managerial roles this season - some have worked and some haven’t worked. I’d be surprised if something changes here [at Leeds] before the end of the season but stranger things have happened, I guess.
