Javi Gracia offers Thorp Arch insight following Leeds United arrival

Javi Gracia has revealed the objectives of his training sessions at Thorp Arch since taking over at Leeds United last month.

The Whites boss claims that since arriving at Elland Road, each session has been pre-prepared by him and his staff in order to make players feel 'comfortable' on the pitch.

Ahead of their clash with Chelsea, Gracia highlighted in his pre-match press conference that he wants his players to anticipate situations on the pitch, something he has previously iterated when he first took over at Elland Road.

"We try to enjoy the training sessions, try to get the players to have the information they need to compete better. All the exercises are prepared with one objective: try to feel what they'll need in the next game.

"[Get them to] anticipate different situations, so that they feel more comfortable in the next game. That's the objective. We'll be well-prepared with the information they need to be their best in the next game."
