Jasprit Bumrah welcomes first child with a heart-warming post

NEW DELHI: India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan were blessed with a baby boy, confirmed the cricketer while sharing a heart-warming post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday.

Bumrah headed back to Mumbai on Sunday, causing him to miss the Asia Cup clash with Nepal slated for Monday in Pallekele. Multiple reports indicated that he'll be back in action for the Super Four matches in Sri Lanka.

Bumrah's return to the international scene occurred after a lengthy 10-month hiatus due to injury.

The 29-year-old led India in the T20I series against Ireland. His performance showcased remarkable fitness and form as he claimed four wickets across two matches, including an impressive 2/15.
