Jason Momoa And Lisa Bonet Officially Divorced After Years

Jason Momoa, left, and Lisa Bonet, right, arrive at the premiere of "Aquaman" at TCL Chinese Theatre, Dec. 12, 2018, in Los Angeles. On Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, Bonet filed for divorce from Momoa,

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have officially finalized their divorce after being separated for several years. The dissolution of their marriage, which had lasted for over seven years, was granted by a Los Angeles County judge and went into effect on Tuesday.

The couple, who had been together for 12 years before tying the knot, had been living separately since October 7, 2020, as indicated in the divorce documents filed by Bonet, also known as Lilakoi Moon, in January. The separation was made public in 2022.

The divorce proceedings were swift and amicable, with both parties reaching agreements on financial matters and asset division. They will share joint custody of their two children, a 16-year-old daughter, and a 15-year-old son.

Jason Momoa, 44, gained fame for his roles in the 'Aquaman' movies and 'Game of Thrones,' while Lisa Bonet, 56, is best known for her work on 'The Cosby Show,' its spinoff 'A Different World,' and in films like 'High Fidelity' and 'Enemy of the State.'

This was Momoa's first marriage, and he has since revealed his relationship with actor Adria Arjona. On the other hand, Bonet was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz and shares a daughter, Zoë Kravitz, with him.

It is worth noting that a correction has been made to clarify that the couple's separation became public in 2022, not 2002.
