Jason Momoa accused of being 'rude' to Nigella Lawson on The One Show

Viewers of The One Show slammed Hollywood star Jason Momoa for his “rude” behaviour towards British cook Nigella Lawson for repeatedly turning his back on the star.

Momoa, 44, is currently promoting his latest movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom  - appearing on the popular BBC One chat show to speak about the anticipated film. It is due for release on December 20.

Momoa was joined by Lawson, 63, and actor James Nesbit, 58, on the show.

As the guests were interviewed by hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, fans noticed that Momoa continually faced towards Nesbitt, therefore turning his back and excluding Lawson.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Jason Momoa sat with his back to Nigella the whole time on the sofa...so rude …”

Another added: “Jason Momoa is being quite ignorant at times, especially when James Nesbitt is talking as he has his back to Nigella Lawson.”

While another simply wrote: “What's Nigella done to upset Jason Momoa then.”

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a sequel to the 2018 superhero movie Aquaman, which is based on the DC Comics character of the same name.

It stars Momoa as Arthur Curry aka Aquaman plus Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard and Nicole Kidman.

The story takes place several years after the events of the first film and sees the title character having to defend his beloved Atlantis and his loved ones from devastation after an ancient power is released by a cursed trident.

Lawson was promoting her festive cookery show -  Nigella’s Amsterdam Christmas - where she shows off her love of Dutch cuisine.

Meanwhile Nesbit was promoting projects such as his starring turn in The Heist Before Christmas where he and Timothy Spall play rival Father Christmases in the Sky original.
