Jason Cundy says Rangers 'love a beating' and calls out Nicola Sturgeon after Champions League woe

Jason Cundy has continued his agenda against Scottish clubs in the Champions League by calling out Rangers following their final match in the tournament.

A 3-1 loss to Ajax means the Ibrox club are now officially the worst side to have ever competed in the group stages of the competition after scoring two goals with 22 conceded, finishing up with a -20 goal difference. Last week, the talkSPORT host put Celtic under the microscope by calling them a 'fourth-tier' side after their elimination from Europe was confirmed with a draw against Shakhtar Donetsk.

He started out his Sports Bar show with host Jamie O'Hara by calling out every member of the team who played in the 3-1 Govan loss alongside some famous Ibrox faces. Cundy started: "Has anyone seen Rangers? McGregor? Tavernier? Sands? King? Barisic? Arfield? Davis? Sakala? Tillman? Kent, can you hear me? Colak? Morelos? Matondo? Wright? Lowry? Gordon Ramsay? Ally McCoist?

"Ally McCoist can you hear me? Your boys are the worst team in Champions League group stage history. You love a beating. The worst side ever.

"The worst side, ever,. The worst side ever, in Champions League history. From Scotland, Rangers."

He proceeded to interview O'Hara trying to speak about Tottenham, adding alongside plenty of worst ever shouts and a call-out for the First Minister: "What is going on in Scotland?

"It's not good enough. We have a little bit of fun but the truth is they are the worst side ever - ever! Nicola Sturgeon, where is she?"
