JASON CUMMINGS has been called up to the Australia squad ahead of friendlies against New Zealand.
The former Hibs and Rangers striker has been included in Graham Arnold's 31-man squad for the back-to-back New Zealand matches.
Cummings has made one appearance for the Scotland national team in a friendly against the Netherlands in 2017 - but qualifies for Australian through his mother.
And Cummings - who left Dundee in January - looks set to make his first appearance for the Socceroos in the New Zealand friendlies.
Cummings has impressed since his switch to Central Coast Mariners Down Under hitting 11 goals in 22 games - and he'll be linking up with a number of familiar faces from Scotland in the Australia squad.
St Mirren duo Ryan Strain and Keanu Baccus have both been included in the squad with Dundee United's Aziz Behich called up.
Hearts stars Nathaniel Atkinson and Cameron Devlin will also join the national team camp as will Hibs ace Martin Boyle.
Celtic summer signing Aaron Mooy has again been called up for national team action under Graham Arnold.
