Comedian Jason Byrne slammed Ryanair staff after he went through a stressful process of retrieving the wallet that he left on a plane.
The funnyman realised he had forgotten his wallet on his seat after he got off the Ryanair plane in a hurry. When he approached a stewardess to go back in and find the wallet, he was told that neither of them could step back into the aircraft.
Jason was advised to go to the help desk in the terminal to get his wallet back. However, the agent at the help desk called the plane and got no answer which meant he would have to contact lost and found, the Irish Mirror reports.

Jason said in a video posted on Facebook: "So, I was on a Ryanair flight coming back from Kerry and I left my wallet on the plane right? Now, I didn’t lose it… I left it on the plane. So I get off the Ryanair flight and I get into the terminal bit and went ‘Ah, oh my God, my wallet,’ it’s on seat 6F, I know exactly where it is.
"You know, I got up too quickly, somebody asked me something and I just wasn’t looking at what I was doing.
“Found a Ryanair staff member and said, ‘Oh listen, can I just or can you go back there and just get that for me there, my wallet is on the plane. It’s not lost, it’s on the plane, it’s on seat 6F’ and they went ‘aw no sorry, you’re going to have to go out to the help desk at the front'."
Jason continued: "So I had to go back out to the terminal, through passport control, and everything, go up to the help desk and say can you ring the plane down there before it takes off because my wallet’s on it."
However, the staff had no luck with getting anyone to answer the phone and handed him a phone number to ring and said he would have to wait and see if someone would hand the wallet in.
Thankfully, a fellow passenger who was travelling on the same plane spotted the wallet and kept it safe until she could contact Jason.
Jason said: "Thank you, Penny Wilkinson,” as he showed the wallet to the camera with a little note on it and continued: “My cards had to go all around the world. Eventually into Penny’s hands somewhere in England. She then posted them from England to Ireland herself because she thought it would be safer than handing them to a Ryanair staff. Unbelievable”.
In a follow up post, Byrne confirmed his annoyance was "directed at the rules" rather than Ryanair.
A follower stated: "I get your situation But you have to understand side of the Ryanair employees as well, the reason why she/he couldn't come back to the cabin is due to procedures, nobody will risk their job to just help you, if she could then she would probably help you."
Byrne responded: "No I get it , this is directed at the rules."
