Jarrod Bowen is confident West Ham have got what it takes to maintain their top-four push this season despite the lack of January transfer signings.
West Ham have played 33 games already this season and face a minimum of 18 more fixtures and a maximum of 30 more matches (including replays if necessary) if they progress to the finals of the FA Cup and Europa League.
The Hammers head into the remainder of the season with the same squad they started the campaign with and Bowen has insisted the team are ready for the challenges ahead.
"I think if you look at the games we’ve had already, we’ve had 23 Premier League games, the Europa League, Carabao Cup games, the FA Cup as well. We’ve had a lot of games already and the squad has done more than enough right now, so now it’s about as a team pushing forward again over the second half of the season," Bowen told the PA news agency.
With the failure to add any players to the squad the onus will be on Michail Antonio to lead the line for the remainder of the campaign but Bowen is happy to do a job as a central striker if required.
"I’ve played up front a few times now with different injuries and suspensions and I’ve enjoyed it up there," he added.
"I like playing up there so if I’m needed to play up front I’ll play there."
Bowen's fine season has seen him linked with a summer move to Liverpool, but the attacker is happy to concentrate on his game and continue his improvement at West Ham.
"I just want to develop my game and be the best version of me," he said. "Last season was my first full season in the Premier League which was always going to be new to me. Then this season was about improving again and trying to do what I know I can do, what I’ve got in the locker so to speak, and being the best I can be.
"I’ve got a long way to go, and a lot more to come from my side, and I’m happy with how it’s going right now."
Such has Bowen's form been the West Ham man has been strongly linked with an England call-up with the attacker understood to have been in consideration for Gareth Southgate's last selection. Bowen made no secret of his desire to represent his country but knows he has to continue impressing if he wishes to be in next month's Three Lions camp.
"It’s every boy’s dream to play for their national team and it’s one of my dreams. All I’m doing is playing my game to the ability that I know I can play at and I want to stick at," he added.
"So if an England call-up happened I’d love it. It’s a long time to the international break so my focus now is pushing this team into the top four and if a call-up happens I’d be delighted."
