Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall has left today’s game against the Atlanta Falcons after taking a big hit at the goal line. He was ruled out with a concussion shortly thereafter
Hall hit a big throw down the sidelines to running back Alexander Mattison to get the Vikings in position. After a couple more plays — including just missing T.J. Hockenson for a touchdown — Hall took the snap on a third-and-goal. With nothing open downfield, Hall took off and ran, getting hit just short of the goal line.
Hall went down immediately and was slow to get up, with the officiating crew immediately calling for the medical staff. Hall was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power, but did so gingerly. He was taken off the field to be seen by the Vikings medical staff and has since been taken back to the locker room.
With Hall being ruled out of the game, Josh Dobbs will take over at quarterback, with running back Cam Akers serving as the emergency QB should anything happen to Dobbs.
