Jared Verse is having a remarkable rookie season and he’s being recognized for it in a big way. The NFL announced AFC and NFC rosters for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games and Verse was selected as one of three outside linebackers on the NFC side.
Verse is the Rams’ only selection for the Pro Bowl this year.
In 16 games this season, Verse has 65 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, 11 tackles for a loss, 18 quarterback hits, two forced fumbles and two passes defenses. He’s also recovered two fumbles. According to Pro Football Focus, Verse leads all rookies with 75 total pressures, 23 more than any other first-year player.
His 75 pressures also rank fourth among all NFL players this season.

Verse wasn’t in the top 10 among outside linebackers at any point during fan voting this year, but coaches account for 1/3 of the selection process and players account for the other 1/3, so that means coaches and players came through for Verse.
He’s exceeded all expectations as the 19th overall pick this year, starting every game and consistently putting his stamp on the defense.

The Pro Bowl Games will be held in Orlando, Fla., from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2.
