Jared Verse did not hold back on his hatred toward Eagles fans: ‘They’re so annoying’

It’s safe to say Jared Verse won’t have many friends in Philadelphia after his recent comments about Eagles fans.

Ahead of Sunday’s playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field, the Rams’ rookie edge rusher unleashed on those who will be in the stands in Philly.

“I hate Eagles fans,” Verse told Gary Klein of the LA Times on Thursday. “They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.”

And when he sees the team’s colors, he hates that, too.

“I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”

Tell ‘em how you really feel, Jared.

Verse has never been one to hold back his feelings. He’s already one of the biggest trash-talkers in the NFL despite being a rookie, constantly chirping at his opponents throughout a game.

This is a little bit different, though. This is Verse going after an entire fanbase, which will be sure to let him hear it on the field Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.

The Rams and Eagles already played once this season in a game that was at SoFi Stadium, and even being at home, Verse got an earful from Eagles fans in the stands.

“I didn’t even do nothing to ‘em,” he said. “It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans.”

Part of what makes Verse so great is his attitude and mentality on (and apparently) off the field. He’s not afraid of anyone, whether it’s the best left tackle in the league or the strongest guard.

And he’s going to let every opponent know that they can’t block him. He tries to get in their heads, and though some of his teammates don’t know how he talks so much without getting tired, he has a motor that never stops running.

With his hatred toward Eagles fans and the disappointment of not getting in on the sack party Monday night, you can bet Verse is motivated to have a huge impact on Sunday’s playoff game.
