During the episode, Leto smoothly guided contestants through the game, showcasing his hosting skills. This wasn't Leto's first appearance on Wheel of Fortune, as he had previously enlisted Sajak and White to help announce his band Thirty Seconds to Mars’ 2024 Seasons World Tour.
While Leto's cameo was a hit with fans, it was revealed that Ryan Seacrest will be taking over as the permanent host of the show after Sajak's retirement at the end of the 2023-2024 season. Sajak, who had been with the show for over 40 years, announced his decision to retire in June 2023.
Vanna White, who has been a staple on Wheel of Fortune, signed a two-year contract extension in September 2023 to continue her role on the show through the 2025-2026 season. White expressed her joy at working alongside Sajak for so many years and looked forward to their final season together.
