Jared Leto looks unrecognisable with bald head and moustache in new Gucci film

Actor Jared Leto looked totally unrecognisable as he transformed into his role as Paolo Gucci for the upcoming drama House of Gucci.

The 49-year-old musician is starring in the new film alongside songstress Lady Gaga and actors Adam Driver and Al Pacino, with scenes being shot in Italy.

On Wednesday, Jared was spotted in action while filming with the crew in a tennis court in the beautiful city of Rome.

He was clad in an all-white outfit and appeared to have noticeable facial hair.

Jared looked completely different to his usual self as he rocked a moustache and bald head with grey sideburns.

During filming, he stood with both hands behind his back and gazed into the distance.

He looked rather unimpressed as he got into character for the forthcoming movie.

Jared, who plays the son of Aldo Gucci in the new blockbuster, has been on set with the likes of Lady Gaga, who plays the role of socialite Patrizia Reggiani in the film.

The film follows Gaga's character's plot to murder her ex-husband over fears their daughter wouldn't receive her £122million ($170million) inheritance and she wouldn't be entitled to a fair divorce settlement.

Gucci's murder sent shockwaves through the fashion world after he was gunned down on the steps of his office in Milan.

Patrizia was convicted of hiring hitmen to murder her late ex-husband Maurizio in cold blood in 1995 after he left her for another woman.

The socialite - who became known as the Black Widow - spent 18 years behind bars for arranging his murder.

Alongside Gaga and Adam Driver, the film also stars Oscar winner Jeremy Irons as his father, Rodolfo Gucci.

Robert DeNiro, Jack Huston and Reeve Carney are also believed to be starring in the film.

Gucci is currently scheduled for release in cinemas on November 24, 2021.
