Competing in the men's snowboard Big Air event, the 19-year-old athlete launched himself off the jump and immediately initiated the complex spin, maintaining control with his hands gripping the board. Despite a minor mishap of crashing into the crowd during his celebratory moment, Ogiwara executed the landing flawlessly, leaving spectators in awe of his performance.

Following his historic achievement, Ogiwara expressed his elation, stating, 'I am the first in the world to do that. I've never been as happy as this.' The young snowboarder described the experience as the greatest moment of his career, emphasizing the immense effort and dedication he put into mastering the challenging trick.

Rounding out the podium was New Zealand's Rocco Jamieson, who finished in third place, trailing behind by another three points.
