Scotland's capital city is set to become the home to the countries first ever Itsu restaurant - creating 30 jobs for the local community.
The popular Asian-inspired brand has announced that it they will officially be opening up a branch in Edinburgh later this month - the first of three planned Scottish branches.
Fans will be able to try out the new restaurant as a weekend treat when it officially opens its doors on Friday, March 25.
Itsu are a global brand that already operates numerous branches across the world, as well as groceries that you can find in your local supermarket shelves.
The new branch will be located in the recently opened St James Quarter Lifestyle District and will include a budget-friendly menu that boasts healthy East Asian-inspired dishes.
With prices starting at under £7 a dish, fans can try out a range of Asian-inspired dishes for less, including sushi, dumplings, bao, hot noodles & rice bowls.
Before the doors officially open to the Edinburgh branch, the brand has invited their neighbours to take part in a 'first look' lunch on Thursday, March 24, between 12pm–1pm.
The first 500 visitors will be provided with fan-favourite dishes such as sushi festival, veggie sushi collection and klean’katsu chicken rice bowl completely free of charge.
And that's not all, as Scots students can be in with the chance of winning a semester's worth of free Itsu food.
Students are encouraged to share their best pictures of the new Itsu restaurant to social media as part of their first ever 'snap and share' competition.
The winner will be awarded free Itsu food to get them through their exams for the rest of the semester.
Itsu's Chief Customer Officer commented: "We can’t wait to open our first restaurant in Scotland in the St James Quarter.
Our itsu supermarket range is already selling a record number of noodlepots in Edinburgh, so we’re excited to offer oodles more, freshly made hot noodle dishes, packed with veg and protein in our brand new purpose-built restaurant."
