Janis Paige, a beloved figure in Hollywood and on Broadway, known for her roles in musicals, comedies, and films, has died at the age of 101. Paige, who continued to perform well into her 90s, passed away at her Los Angeles home on Sunday due to natural causes.

Paige's illustrious career spanned both stage and screen. She starred in Broadway productions such as 'The Pajama Game' alongside John Raitt and 'Remains to be Seen' with Jackie Cooper. Her film credits include appearances in movies like 'Bachelor in Paradise,' 'Please Don't Eat the Daisies,' and 'Follow the Boys.'

In addition to her acting talents, Paige was also a vocal advocate for the #MeToo movement. In 2018, she bravely shared her own experience of assault, shedding light on a dark chapter from her past.

Paige's journey to stardom began during wartime when she captivated audiences with her operatic singing at the Hollywood Canteen. This led to her being discovered by MGM and subsequently signed by Warner Bros., where she found success in a string of films.
