Janey Godley has told her followers that she is "worrying endlessly" as she awaits her results following her chemotherapy.
The Scots comedian has been documenting her cancer journey online and recently finished her scheduled course of treatment.
Despite undergoing a hysterectomy at the start of the year, Janey had to have six rounds of chemo as the cancer had progressed to stage 3b.
She now needs to wait until next month to see if the chemotherapy has been successful and if she is in remission.
She took to Twitter to say that the waiting is causing her a lot of anxiety.
She wrote: "Hopefully in June 13th the scan will reveal I am in remission - until then I will worry endlessly."
And fans quickly sent their love.
One said: "I do hope so Janey. Everything crossed for you. xx."
Another added: "So much love and luck for good news in June x."
One wrote: "I really hope so. This tweet is really hard to read, however, hopefully it helps communicate to those of us (presently) fortunate enough to live without such an illness, how difficult it is physically and mentally for those who do."
The day before, Janey also opened up about her feelings post-treatment.
She said: "The constant fear of waking up in anxiety, the horrible knowledge that cancer will be a part of my life until I die now is overwhelming, I accept I must be brave but is bravery simply being alive and pushing down all the fears to get through the next hour? I’m scared."
After being diagnosed, Janey teamed up with the Beatson Cancer Charity and together they have managed to raise £42,000.
Comedians including her daughter Ashley Storrie performed at the Soup Pot Tours at Glasgow's Kings Theatre on March 18 and 19 after she was forced to pull out because of her declining health.
Tickets alone raised £39,037.58, a collection raised an extra £2693.95 and merchandise share raised £1211.85.
