Scottish comedian Janey Godley got a standing ovation at her Edinburgh show over the weekend, as she thanked her fans for their love and support.
The funny woman has been battling cancer and despite having a full hysterectomy, she will have to battle stage-three ovarian cancer for "the rest of her life". She spoke to Lorraine Kelly at the time of her diagnosis, and shared that she wanted to "go out with a bang" by continuing on with her Not Dead Yet tour in 2023.
Janey confirmed to fans that this tour would be the last of her stage career, due to her illness. At the time, Janey told Lorraine: "I don’t know how long I’ve got, but like a mayfly, I’m gonna enjoy it while I can.
