Scottish comedian Janey Godley has issued a heartbreaking update over her health.
After receiving the all clear earlier this year, Janey announced that her cancer has returned and fears her 2023 tour could be her last.
This comes after she was forced to postpone her gigs this year as she underwent treatment for ovarian cancer after being diagnosed in November 2021.

Taking to social media, the 61-year-old said despite the latest update, she is determined to get her show Not Dead Yet Tour back on stage and said it will go ahead next year. Although she sadly added that this might be the last time she will be able to perform live.
In a video on Twitter, Janey explained that latest tests revealed signs of the disease in her abdomen and she will re-start chemotherapy.
She said: “My recent scan and my blood tests showed that my cancer marker went up.
“There’s still a bit of disease in my abdomen. So I want you all to know that I’ll be going through some more chemotherapy.
“I also want you to know that I’m going ahead with the tour in February and March. I am determined to get back on stage.
“I’m looking forward to the tour, I think it’s fair and honest to say it might be the last time you see me live on stage. I’m hoping it’s not, but I think it’s a fair estimation.”
Fans flocked to the comment section to send their well wishes.
Former Labour and Co-operative MP Ged Killen said: "Sorry to hear this, Janey, but glad to hear you’re getting back on stage. Wishing you all the best."
Leah MacRae of River City replied: "MAGIC for audiences to be entertained by her again and MAGIC for her to feel that love, laughter and appreciation from the audiences. Don’t miss one of the very BEST back on stage where she belongs x"
While Scottish actor Sean Biggerstaff said: “Really courageous, Janey.
“Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome, and best of luck for the tour.”
