Janey Godley "cannae wait" for her final tour to kick off as the comedian shares an update on her cancer journey ahead of her first show back.
The Glasgow comic is back on stage after a year and a half away as she begins her 'Janey's Not Dead Yet' tour in Arbroath on Wednesday, February 1, before travelling across Scotland and then down to London in the coming weeks.
But before Janey can get on the road, she is finishing off another round of cancer treatment. The comic had a blood transfusion on Monday before chemo on Tuesday - just a day before her opening show. Despite the tough health journey, Janey is buzzing to get back to what she does next.

Posting a video update from the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Janey said: "I got my blood transfusion last night and I'm getting my chemo today. As soon as the chemo is done, I'm out, I'm away for a meeting with my agent and creative team and getting all ready because the tour starts tomorrow.
"I cannae wait. I cannae wait to get back on stage and as soon as I get on stage I'm just gonna feel so good.
"It will be the last tour I'll be able to do because of the cancer diagnosis, but I can't wait to get back on stage.
"I can't wait to hear people laugh. I can't wait to laugh myself."
The comedian also shared her gratitude for the support as she continues her battle against cancer.
She added: "I want to thank the Beatson, the Scottish NHS, everybody who has supported me."
"The tour starts the morra!" She exclaimed. "I finally get back on stage after a year and a bit. F**k cancer! I'm super excited!"
The 62-year-old recently shared a health update during an appearance on Lorraine.
Janey was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in November 2021, undergoing a full hysterectomy in January 2022. The comedian announced she was cancer-free in June 2022, but shared the news in December 2022 that the disease had returned.
The comedian explained to Lorraine that her conditions is "treatable but not curable" before breaking down in tears as she shared her journey so far with her fellow Scotswoman.
The Glaswegian comic went on to say she is determine to keep fighting, noting that she is not a "human advent calendar" as she is continually asked "how long she has left".
And the funny-woman vowed that she will go "oot with a bang".
