Janey Godley said goodbye to her long locks as she continues her fight against cancer.
The Scots comic was helped by daughter Ashley, who took a pair of scissors to them amid her ongoing chemotherapy treatment.
Just last week, Janey revealed that she had made the decision to cut off her hair before it starts falling out.
She recently underwent a hysterectomy after being diagnosed with stage 3b ovarian cancer before Christmas.
In a video on Instagram, before she started her chemo journey, Janey said: "I've been for my chemotherapy meeting and I'm going to be getting chemo pretty soon and I'm going to be getting all my hair cut off so that when it does start falling out it's not going to be like a big mass, like a f*****g lion's mane trailing behind me!"
Since then, Janey has had one round of treatment, and decided that it was time to get the chop.
Filming the process, Janey sat down and let Ashley do her thing.
She captioned the video: " So @ashleystorrie starts the process of cutting my hair for chemo and the hairdresser will finish it off into a pixie cut soon."
Speaking to the camera, she said: "So, we're going to go for the bob cut! Ashley is going to be doing it for me."
Ashley asks: "Are you ok?"
Janey replies: "I'm great, I'm really looking forward to this Ashley."
Ashley then made a joke to brighten the mood. She said: "So what's cancer like? Where you going your holiday?"
Janey laughed: "Cancer is weird, since having the first session chemotherapy, I've had these wee zapping feelings all over in my tummy."
Ashley got a bit upset as she prepared to cut her mother's hair.
She sniffed: "This is super stressful, never mind the added stress that my maw has got cancer."
Janey said: "It disny matter, we are going to do this and get through this together, ok?"
Ashley whispers back: "Okay."
"Come on, we can do this together, people have faced tougher things. "
Once the hair cut was complete Janey smiled to the camera and ran her fingers through her new do.
She said: "Oh my God it feels really short, it's amazing!"
Ashley then joked that she even looked like a young Rick Parfitt from Status Quo and the two began singing Rockin' All Over The World together.
And many fans loved the video on Janey's Instagram.
One wrote: "Actually really good! Wonderful video. You’re an inspiration the pair of you."
Another added: "What a Team you look amazing & well done to your gorgeous girl for doing a very hard thing for her mammy. good luck keep smiling & you both will get through this tough time."
While one said: "Janey honestly, if you lose your hair & it grows back, I’d have it that length. Looks bloody amazing!"
