Scots comedian Janey Godley will host a brand new BBC radio series all about her life and her cancer journey.
The 61-year-old took to social media to announce the news about 'Janey Godley - C Word'.
The new BBC radio 4 series will talk about her upbringing and also her battle with cancer.
In December 2021, the star was given the devastating news that she had ovarian cancer and would need to have a hysterectomy, however in June 2022 following the major op and further treatment, she was given the all clear.
But in November last year, Janey confirmed that her cancer returned as tests had shown signs of the disease in her abdomen - meaning she would need to have more treatment.
She has been sharing her journey online and now will be able to talk about it more in depth on the radio series.
On her Instagram, she wrote: " This is exciting- I have a new BBC radio 4 series coming up!"
And fans said they were looking forward to tuning in.
One wrote: "That's brilliant news, Janey. - will look forward to listening! Congratulations"
Another said: "Fabulous look forward to listening."
While one penned: "This IS exciting, we can’t wait to listen."
Last week, Janey appeared on ITV to chat with Lorraine Kelly about her upcoming tour, saying that her diagnosis won't stop her putting on a show.
She said: "This is my last big tour I'll be able to do due to cancer diagnosis and on the very first date is in Arbroath, and that day I get chemotherapy so I'm going straight from the Beatson, into the tour van and straight on stage.
"I genuinely cannot wait to be able to see people, have a laugh and I'm looking forward to talking about something that's not my blood count, my haemoglobin or my symptoms of cancer."
