Loose Women's Janet Street-Porter left the panel in awe with her street slang knowledge.
The Loose Women panel tested Janet Street-Porter on her street smarts today to see whether or not she was "down with the kids" by hitting her with slang terms. The quick-fire quiz round was prompted as the panel discussed Multicultural London English set to become Britain's primary dialect in upcoming years.
Ready to test her knowledge, Janet was eager to take the quiz as she declared herself a "woman of the people." Kaye Adam's asked Janet what "mandem" meant and instantly stopped her in her tracks as she gave a wrong answer to her first question.

Janet said: "It's just a term, isn't it. It doesn't really mean anything." Panellist Brenda Edward clarified it was a slang term for men or a group of men.
Despite the wobbly start Janet ended up making her way through the rest of the quiz with flying colours, nailing terms like "peng", "wasteman" and "creps". Janet explained the words meant "beautiful", "a waste of space" and "shoes" respectively.
Stumped on what "lips you up" meant, Brenda offered a hint to Janet as she pursed her lips to give an example. Janet hit back with a snappy "to kiss" as she proudly wrapped up the quickfire segment.
The quiz went down a storm with viewers too as they were quick to share their praise with Janet. One viewer said: " Well done girl #LooseWomen." Another added: "Lol Janet mandem #loosewomen."
Reiterating she grew up around different cultures during her youth, Janet explained she had more terms up her sleeve but wasn't willing to share them. She said: "I am up on a lot of it but unfortunately a lot of it is too blue to broadcast on television."
