Actress Gina Rodriguez announced to the world that she was pregnant on her 38th birthday.
The Jane the Virgin star dropped the bombshell in a short Instagram video also featuring her actor husband Joe LoCicero, 35.
A montage of the couple sharing tender moments over a bed of soft romantic music ends with them holding up a positive pregnancy test.
Sharing the video with her 4.2 million followers, Gina captions the post with a red love heart emoji and wrote: "This birthday hits different."
Famous friends of the happy couple were quick to congratulate the pair on their baby news.
Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow wrote: "Yaaaaaay my love!! So much love for you THREE".
Her Jane the Virgin co-star Jaime Camil gushed: "My heart is bursting for you two."
Orange Is The New Black actress Danielle Brooks commented: "Welcome to the club mama!!!"
Academy Award winner Viola Davis, Dancing With The Stars professional Derek Hough, singer Jordin Sparks, and actress Arielle Kebbel also offered congratulations.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, Gina admitted that she wants a baby "so bad".
"But I don't want the whole process, I just want one to arrive, like the stork conversation," she joked. "I could adopt, right? Yeah, I just might do that. I definitely want to adopt."
Referring to the twin babies she works with on Jane the Virgin, she said: "I feel like they bring the baby up to me and my ovaries are like 'Ahh! Come here, baby!'"
Gina won a Golden Globe for her role as Jane Villanueva in the romantic comedy drama series in 2015.
She met Joe on the show's set in 2016 after he appeared in a guest role as a stripper.
