Jane Moore has revealed what Vanessa Feltz's "greatest revenge" is after her split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu.
Loose Women panelist Jane, 60, said she was "sad" and "surprised" to learn of Vanessa's break up from Ben.
Vanessa, 60, announced the split as she shared a video on her Instagram page earlier this week.
Following the announcement, Vanessa has been incredibly candid about her heartbreak as she appeared on This Morning and Talk TV – as she recently admitted she is "not herself".
Vanessa has been supported by a string of celebrity pals as she begins to move on from her split. Now, Loose Women star Jane has been the latest to offer some supportive words to the TV star.
Jane, who announced her own split from her husband Gary Farrow in December, said she was "sad and surprised" to hear of Vanessa and Ben's break-up.
The TV added how the pair "seemed like such a happy couple who genuinely enjoyed each other's company".
However, she suggested that Vanessa – who "wears her heart on her sleeve" – will: "Process and dispense with any hurt very swiftly indeed, and carry on like the true life force she is".
Jane added in her column with The Sun: "She’s smart enough to know that the greatest revenge when someone has treated you so shabbily is to simply get on with your life and be happy."
It comes after Vanessa announced her split from Ben in a video posted to her Instagram page earlier this week.
She told fans in the video: "Well I haven't been on Instagram for three weeks and that's because my relationship with Ben is over after sixteen years and I honestly didn't know what to say to you on Instagram.
"But now it's clear that it's over and I really do feel that once the trust in a relationship is gone then you can't really get it back and that's what I would tell anyone else to do."
Vanessa tried to hold back tears as she bravely continued: "And so I just wanted to say that obviously I feel incredibly sad and I am pretty disappointed and shocked and all those horrible things but also full of resolve. I am not going to let this defeat me."
Throughout the week, Vanessa has been incredibly honest about the emotional turmoil she's experienced since the end of her 16 year romance – as she admitted she thought she was going to be with Ben until she died.
And on Wednesday evening, she discussed her heartbreak on her TalkTV show with guest Ulrika Jonsson.
"I know I'm not myself because I am not even going near the chocolate biscuits, it's because I'm just not hungry," she told Ulrika.
Vanessa also said she had a "marvellous cuddle" with her four month baby grand daughter earlier today.
"That was great, I know she's not a therapy baby but that was great," she added.
As she closed the show, Vanessa said her programme won't always mention heartbreak, adding: "I probably won't mention it ever again, I hope not too."
