Aaj Ka AQI is a new show aimed at fixing accountability for a solution to India’s air crisis. For episode 18, Newslaundry went to the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on Friday.
The highest AQI reading in Delhi was 400 or in the ‘severe’ category. Outside the ministry, the PM 2.5 level hovered around 180, while the air detector pegged PM 10 at around 210.
What has the ministry done to address the problem?
