Aaj Ka AQI is a new show aimed at fixing accountability for a solution to India’s air crisis. For episode 14, Newslaundry visited BJP Northeast Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari’s home on Monday.
The AQI reading at the nearest station was 325 or in the ‘very poor’ category. Outside the MP’s home, the PM 2.5 level hovered around 112, while the air detector pegged PM 10 at around 130.
In November last year, Tiwari was seen distributing N95 masks in the national capital. What steps has he taken to tackle air pollution?
